Samsung Phone Battery Catches Fire In Woman's Pocket

Is this the new trend? Phone explodes,
catches fire in Pocket. Since 2011 several cases have been reported of Samsung Phone battery exploding on fire. The latest incident is that of Fanny Schlatter , an 18 year old Swiss girl.

Fanny went to work with her Samsung Galaxy S3 phone in her pocket. The workday starts but at some point she felt a warmth and a strange smell from her pocket of the trousers. Before she even had the time to react, the phone catches fire and  the girl reported third-degree burns on her right thigh.
In the picture above you can see how it has reduced the device. Samsung has now intervened on the issue by stating that it is ready to shed light on the incident, the phone will be collected and sent to Korea for the necessary tests, while the girl does not want to press charges against the company. She is demanding the replacement of the Smartphone and compensation for medical treatment.
